Deadline • Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Now that spooky season is upon us, we invite you to spookify your pumpkin Russian style! From now until November 1, click here to send us a picture of your creation.
GUIDELINES
1. Pumpkins may be painted, carved, or otherwise decorated.
2. Get creative! Pumpkins must be decorated in a way that connects with the Russian speaking world and associated cultural elements, historical events, mythological creatures, or contemporary media. (Baba Yaga pumpkin? Bolshoi Theater pumpkin? Vinni Pukh pumpkin?)
3. Entries will be judged based on execution, creativity, and connection with elements in the Russian speaking world. Winners will be selected by Dr. Eleonora Magomedova, Teaching Associate Professor in Russian, and Daria, our Fulbright FLTA, and featured on our Instagram page!
