Russian Video Game Night: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro 2033

Following the Stalker screening in October, the Russian Flagship Program has partnered with the Greenlaw Gaming initiative to present another way to explore the Zone! Join Jessica Ginocchio and David Hall in the Greenlaw Gameroom to experience two popular and critically-acclaimed video games from the Russian-speaking world. Both the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series (2007-2009) and Metro 2033 (2010) are based on works of Russian science fiction and developed by Ukrainian game developers GSC Gameworld and 4A Games. After a brief introduction to the source material by the hosts, you’ll get a chance to play both games. Games will be in Russian with English subtitles. No video game experience required, and spectating is welcome. Space is limited in the Gameroom. Sign-up early to secure your spot!
